Jacques Comets has edited films by Bernard Stora, Laurent Heynemann, Christine Pascal, Joel Farges, Tonie Marshall (all France), Raoul Peck (Haiti), Petr Vaclav (Czech Republic), Eyal Sivan (Israel), Djamshed Usmonov (Tajikistan), Ramadan Suleiman (South Africa), Pablo Aguero (Argentina), Tsai Ming-liang (Taiwan), Samuel and Frédéric Guillaume (Switzerland), Dima El-Horr (Lebanon), Pavel Giroud (Cuba), Annemarie Jacir (Palestine), Germinal Roaux (Switzerland), Beatriz Seigner (Brazil), Rohena Gera (India) and Massoud Bakshi (Iran), among others. In addition, he has overseen the editing of several feature-length films in Morocco (Narjiss Nejjar), Colombia (Maria Gamboa and Ruben Mendoza), Lebanon (Lamia Joreige, Michel Kamoun), Vietnam (Nguyen Hoang Diep), Switzerland (Jacob Berger), Georgia (Tinatin Kajrishvili) and India (Miransha Naik, Rima Das and Prateek Vats). Comets co-directed the editing department at La Fémis until July, 2018. He has led seminars and workshops and sat on juries at film schools and universities in Albania, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, India, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Spain, Switzerland and Tunisia.
