
Lamia Chraïbi is a Moroccan producer and founder of LA PROD and Moon & Deal Films. Constantly pushing the boundaries of narrative form, she has collaborated with acclaimed directors including Hicham Lasri, Narjiss Nejjar, and Ismaël Ferroukhi. Chraibi’s international credits include Oliver Laxe's Mimosas (2016), which won the Grand Prize of La Semaine de la Critique, and Balint Kenyeres's Yesterday (2018), which was presented at the Locarno Film Festival. She produced Talal Selhami's Achoura (2018), the first Moroccan fantasy film, and Ferroukhi's Mica (2020). Her catalog also includes documentaries such as Simone Bitton’s Ziyara (2021), which won the Grand Prize at the Milan International Filmmaker Festival, and Mohamed El Aboudi’s School of Hope (2021), which won a Special Jury Prize at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival and a Special Prize at the Tampere Film Festival. A member of Film Independent, the EAVE network, and ACE, Chraibi founded the Tamayouz Foundation to support Moroccan women in film through workshops, scholarships, and mentoring.
