Michael Derrossett studied cinema in California. His career in color and image began in San Francisco, where he worked as a Flame and Smoke artist on documentaries and national commercial work. In 2011, he moved to Marseille, where he began to focus on color grading, using Flame Premium and Lustre.e switched to using DaVinci Resolve exclusively in 2015. He is now based in Paris and works as a colorist all over the world. His portfolio includes feature-length fiction films and documentaries, broadcast documentaries, television series, and short films, and has won numerous awards in each category. He approaches each collaboration differently, and loves to help the production team achieve their vision and even sometimes find new ways to tell their story visually.
