Shakir passes away, leaving behind a wife, two daughters, and a hidden son. Still shocked by the news, his wife and one daughter try to focus on the inheritance matters. Only Naima is curious about Rachid, her half-brother. While her mother and sister are asleep, she sneaks out of the house to walk with him. They talk about their late father. Naima wants to forget everything about the past. Rachid wants to learn more about Shakir. A fragile connection begins to emerge between them.
BATOUL BENAZZOU
Batoul is a Moroccan director and screenwriter. She graduated from the directing department of La Fémis in 2014 with her short film Selma. She then worked as an assistant director and casting director while developing her own projects. In 2022, she founded Balkis Films, a production company based in Morocco. She directed and produced Deserted Streets, a short film that is now in post-production. She is currently developing Hercule, a short film, as well as her first feature-length work, Off Roads.
