In a drought-stricken village in the Atlas Mountains, Biya, guardian of ancestral secrets, leads women in an ancient rain ritual: Taghenja—parading a ladle dressed as a bride. Marching under the scorching sun, they invoke Taslit, the mythical bride of the rain. Through this ceremony, Taslit’s spirit emerges to recount her love with Anzar, the rain god, unveiling a forgotten myth that exposes the tragic origins of the drought that is tormenting their land.
