Film curator Rabih El-Khoury has worked with the Metropolis Cinema Association in Lebanon since its inception in 2006. He has also been an active member of the cultural association Beirut DC for the promotion of Arab Cinema and has organized more than 20 Arab film weeks in the Arab World and Europe. He has served as Programme Manager of Talents Beirut, curated the Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, held the positions of Diversity Manager at the DFF–Deutsches Filmmuseum & Filminstitut in Frankfurt and Head of Program at ALFILM, the Arab Film Festival of Berlin. Today, he curates the SAFAR Film Festival across the United Kingdom, collaborates with AFRIKAMERA in Berlin and, since September 2024, is an advisor for the selection of the Official Program of the Berlin International Film Festival.
