
Call for Applications Now Open
Atlas Programs is a structuring initiative dedicated to supporting Moroccan, Arab, and African cinema. Launched in 2025 to bring greater coherence and visibility to the Festival’s professional activities, Atlas Programs brings together all support initiatives developed since 2018 around the Atlas Workshops.
Applications are now open for the Atlas Workshops — for projects in development until Monday, July 6, and for films in post-production until Monday, August 31 — as well as for the Atlas Station programme — for Moroccan producers until Monday, August 31, and for Moroccan short films until Monday, September 14, 2026.

The festival offers:
The Atlas Workshops
A five-day online programme in October, followed by a five-day, onsite programme from November 22 to 26, alongside the Marrakech International Film Festival.
A selection of Projects in Development and Films in Shooting or Post-production whose creative director/producer teams benefit from artistic and professional support tailored to their needs given their project’s current stage of production.
An ideal presentation framework, in which Projects in Development are introduced via a public pitching session, while Films in Shooting and Post-production are further exposed through screenings of excerpts.
A co-production market, where participants have the opportunity to attend targeted, individual meetings with invited international professionals.
Cash prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the Atlas Workshops, decided upon by two juries, one each for Projects in Development and Films in Shooting or Postproduction.
Atlas Station
A program consisting of five days online in October, followed by five days onsite, from November 22- 26, alongside the Marrakech International Film Festival.
Two professional initiatives are aimed at Moroccan professionals:
— A professional intitive aimed to Moroccan producers who wish to hone their skills in order to develop their international business activities. This artistic and professional support is tailored to participants’ needs at this moment in their careers.
— Atlas Station offers a professional initiative aimed at Moroccan directors of short films currently in shooting or in post-production who wish to hone their skills in order to launch the international career of their film. This artistic and professional support is tailored to participants’ needs at this moment in their production.
