2025 Atlas Workshops

Through the 28 projects presented, the selection of the Atlas Workshops for 2025 highlights unique, powerful stories told by voices from multiple cultures and territories. They reflect at once the diversity of Arab and African cinema as well as the profound themes that run through them—family ties, the dialogue between tradition and modernity, the search for identity, wounded childhood, emancipation, reconciliation, resilience—but also the voice of territories that resist, the awakening of environmental awareness, and the recurrent need to reinvent oneself. Established filmmakers and emerging talents.
