Karim Aitouna is a Moroccan producer working between France and Morocco. Among the films he has produced: Anna Roussillon’s award-winning  documentary I Am the People (2014), which was selected for ACID Cannes, David Yon’s first feature The Night and the Kid (2015), selected at the 65th Berlinale Forum section, Rä Di Martino’s Controfigura (2015 - Venice International Film Festival), Ahmed Fawzi’s Poisonous Roses (2018 - Rotterdam IFF, Egypt’s Academy Award submission for 2020) and the documentaries Dans la maison by Karima Saidi and Gevar’s Land by Qutaiba Barhamji, both presented at IDFA 2020, as well as Europe by Philip Scheffner (Berlinale 2022). Aitouna is a member of EAVE and EURODOC. He worked as lecturer and consultant for many funds, Labs and festivals (IFFR Pro Days by Rotterdam IFF, Open Doors Pro by Locarno IFF, Alpi Film Lab by Torino Film Lab, Atlas Workshops, Red Sea Film Fund, Festival du Nouveau Cinéma de Montreal, etc).
