Screenwriter Valeria Richter consults on feature films and television series, and is a renowned international pitch coach and mentor. She has headed more than 60 workshops and labs since co-founding TorinoFilmLab in 2008. She has been developing the Strategic Audience Design approach since 2011, and wrote a book outlining its fundamental tools in 2018. She consults for various international markets by selecting projects and talents, and is a seasoned panelist and speaker. In 2022, Richter premiered Next of Kin, an eight-part TV drama series, in Finland, as head writer/creator and she is currently developing new projects. She co-heads New Nordic Narratives, a Danish-Swedish sustainability and leadership platform, which organized a series of Near Future Retreat think tanks with major industry events in Tallinn, Berlin, Cannes, Helsinki and with the European Film Academy, and innovates new lab formats and initiatives for change.
