Jennifer Sabbah-Immagine holds a Master’s degree in Law and Audiovisual Management from the University of  Panthéon-Sorbonne, graduated in Theatre and Film Studies at the New Sorbonne University Paris 3, and studies with a specialization in Script Editing at the Conservatoire européen d’écriture audiovisuelle in Paris. She began her career at the Théâtre du Soleil, a multicultural company led by Ariane Mnouchkine, then was assistant to veteran producer Rosalinde Deville at Elefilm. She worked for Unifrance in New York City, then at Verve Pictures and The Weinstein Company in the United Kingdom before producing documentary and fiction films in France and Northern Ireland. She works on large-scale international co-productions and has extensive experience in development, line production and business affairs. She headed the documentary department at ADR Productions for five years and oversaw development and production at Arsam International for seven, as well as working for KinoElektron. Since 2008, she has managed the Big Sister production company with director Jihan El Tahri, producing documentary films by talents from Africa and the Middle East. With producer Edyta Janczak-Hiriart, she recently founded Scale & Scope, a consulting company that provides guidance to film professionals, including monitoring international co-production. She has been a member of EAVE since 2009.
