Thomas Ducastel is a screenwriter and director. After completing a Master’s degree in Screenwriting at the Paris Nanterre University, he directed the short film Monsieur (2019) for the Canal+ collection; the film was shown at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival and the Festival International du Film d’Aubagne. His second work, Bastion, a short political documentary currently in post-production, received a Nouvelle Aquitaine Film Workout grant at the International Independent Film Festival of Bordeaux in 2020. The same year, Ducastel was a lead writer for the musical series Mythos, currently in development at France Télévisions for its Slash channel. He is a regular script analyst and consultant for several distributors such as Universal Pictures France and UGC, as well as for production companies including Quad, Le Bureau, and Radar Films.
